Nik Day got a new calling in his ward, he is now the Assistant Executive Secretary. Nik seems very positive about the change.

Star Biz Winner

Nik won BYU's Star Biz. No surprise there. We all knew that he is very talented, but we are happy to report he is also gracious and giving. The winning song is now the theme song for Utah Foundation for the Blind. 

Nik co-wrote the winning song with his friends Ellee and Jeff. All proceeds of purchasing that song off itunes goes to the Utah Foundation for the Blind donate here. 

Single Status

He changed his Facebook status to SINGLE and has received several likes from it. Who will be the next lucky girl?

Nik was seen walking with a girl earlier this evening. She is 22 and very beautiful. This could be the start of a new romance.

Mark your calendars. Nik Day's official website was born yesterday, Sept. 17th, 2011. He has been telling friends about it for some time and we are excited to announce that it is officially open and available to the world. Although it is still under-construction nikday.com is worth a gander and it will be an excellent source for official Nik Day info. We especially like the layout of this new website. Classy and modern: like Nik.

Even-though Nik has created a new website continue following Day Watch. We promise to keep bringing you the tidbits about Nik Day that you've come to love because Day Watch is where you learn "what you should know about Nik."

Star Biz

A new BYUtv show called StarBiz premieres Sept. 27th and our very own Nik Day is one of the contestants. What is StarBiz? "StarBiz is a new reality format television show, featuring singer-songwriters on a journey of growth and (competition)." The contestants get to work with mentors such as David Osmond and its rumored that Nik does pretty well on during the competition. Check out this StarBiz Preview*, for a half second glimpse of Nik. 

So tune in Tuesdays starting Sept. 27th at 7pm and support Nik Day on StarBiz.

Autumn and Plaid

Nik Day's fall wardrobe is out. He was recently seen sporting a fashionable plaid blue and tan button up shirt paired with khakis pants.

Nik Day? Nick Lachey?

Have you ever noticed the similarities between Niklaus "Nik" Day and Nick Lachey?
Their names sound alike, they look alike, and they are both singers.
























In 2006, Nick Lachey (left) came out with his album What's Left of Me, which featured a song called Shades Of Blue. 
Then in 2010, Nik Day (right) made an album called Interesting Shades Of Blue, which featured his biggest hit thus far How Could Life Get Any Better. Are we the only ones seeing this connection?
Actually Nik himself has noticed: "Niklaus Day sounds like Nick Lachey, which is pretty cool."

100 Years!

For the Labor Day weekend Nik is back home in Southern Idaho enjoying family time and celebrating his grandfather's 100th Birthday. Congrats to Nik's Grandpa!

Lookin Good in a Blue Shirt

Nik is on his way to an acquaintance's birthday party; wearing a blue shirt that makes matches his eyes perfectly and as always his hair is stylishly tousled. He is one of the few men that can pull off the disheveled look.
